IQA became TAFISA member

May 24, 2025 | Announcement

The International Quadball Association is proud to announce its official acceptance as an international member of TAFISA (The Association For International Sport For All).

TAFISA is the world’s leading organization dedicated to promoting inclusive physical activity and sport for all. With over 393 member organizations across 170+ countries, TAFISA serves as a unifying platform for sport-based initiatives that foster health, community, cultural exchange, and sustainability across the globe.

Joining TAFISA opens a new chapter for the IQA and its global community. As a member, the IQA gains access to:

  • Networking opportunities with national sport organizations, ministries, NGOs, and academic institutions around the world.
  • Capacity-building programs such as leadership development, governance training, and organizational support tailored to sport federations.
  • Access to funding and partnership opportunities through joint programs, projects, and sport development grants.
  • Inclusion in global events like the TAFISA World Congress and World Sport for All Games, providing a platform to showcase quadball to a wider audience.
  • Advocacy support to position quadball as a driver of positive social change, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

“This is a major milestone for IQA and our global community. It marks an important step forward on the path toward broader recognition of quadball as a legitimate and competitive sport that is both inclusive and impactful”, said Bobby Click, Executive Director of the IQA.

By becoming part of the TAFISA network, the IQA strengthens its commitment to diversity, accessibility, and community-building through sport. It also amplifies its voice on the global stage — not only as a sport, but as a movement.
